This workshop is all about developing your own knit chart:
From inspiration to your own motif. With paper collages, we’ll turn your inspiration into pattern repeats or illustrations and create a chart which you can use for garments and accessories with colourwork, the intarsia technique or textured knitting. We’ll think about material and colour combinations and afterwards, you’ll knit a swatch using your own chart.

Please bring:
Knitting needles size 3 – 5 mm and matching leftover yarns you’d like to work with.
An inspiration for your design, for example a photo, an art postcard or some specific colours.
Scissors for paper cutting and some coloured pencils. If you want to develop your motif digitally, you could use a tablet or a laptop.
